Happy International Women’s Day!

The campaign theme this year is #choosetochallenge with the idea being that a challenged world is an alert world.

If I alert my readers on Fintech, no wonder the female representation & leadership in Fintech – a field at the intersection of two traditional sectors – technology and finance – having their own diversity problems – remains challenging.

Think about it this way, if we only have a small group of people who look and think alike creating the financial services of the future, it’s likely those products will only fit the needs of people similar to them.

And I am not saying, we as women need to be supported or preferred, we just have to be empowered than the sector paying lip service to inclusion & diversity.
