Covid-19 Solidarity Response through CROWDFUNDING? 🙏🏻

Crowdfunding appears to be a modern invention but it can be traced back to the 1700s when Jonathan Swift set up the Irish Loan Fund to provide loans to low-income families in Ireland.

Later, Crowdfunding on the internet gained popular and mainstream use in the arts and music communities when fans of the British rock band Marillion raised US$60,000 in donations to underwrite an entire U.S. tour.

Today, It is helping thousands of individuals and charitable causes to get the resources they need to thrive with.

You already know that India is going through a crisis right now with cases skyrocketing during the second wave of the pandemic.

But it’s not about the numbers, it’s about the names we know.

Doing a little bit in my own way, I am helping a team build a 125 bed temporary facility which will provide all facilities to patients. To get started we need 20, 10-liter oxygen concentrators to be fitted alongside the bed.

This week’s #fincuts appeals to you to be a part of this crowdfunding I am closely supporting and if serving in whatever small way gives you purpose, donation link for the center: https://lnkd.in/d-DHBdA
